Bluebead Mountain Trading Company

Welcome to Bluebead!

Bluebead Mountain Trading Company is an unique way to shop for unique American Indian arts/crafts—textiles (especially!) and also bead/leather work, jewelry dolls, toys, etc.—by prize-winning artists.

Over the last 10 years, Linda & Mike Woal have “grown” a loose co-op network of Native American (mostly Navajo) artists and traders who both make and trade artcrafts. Bluebead art/crafts are one- or very-few-of-a-kind. We don't have warehouse shelves of identical pieces. Most items are contemporary; some are vintage. Each is entirely handmade, guarranteed authentic and just plain guarranteed without qualification. (You may return anything, for any reason, for a full refund.)

Frankly, we think that, to do what Bluebead does, you’d have to have spent a lot of time getting to know Native American art and artists and that you’d have to be here. We do this because we enjoy wonderful relationships with artists and traders, and we love their artcrafts.

Bluebead's special interest is Navajo Germantown renaissance rugs. Find out more about these weavings at The Eyedazzlers Project

Bluebead's artcrafts are available on eBay. We hope you'll add our eBay user name, bluebeadmountain, to your list of favorite eBay sellers.
